Frozen Fruit Salad
SERVES 10–12
2 cups sour cream
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 8-ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained
1/4 cup maraschino cherries, drained, stems removed
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
1 or 2 ripe bananas, mashed
In a medium bowl, mix together all ingredients. Pour into a 9-by-13-by-2-inch pan, then cover and freeze for 4 hours or longer.
