Summer on Augusta, presented by Virginia Hayes of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner REALTORS, will take place July 24 to July 27. Special events will be going on all along Augusta Road as local businesses celebrate Summer with festivities, block parties, Mater Pie Contest, kids activities, southern themed events, great food, cool drinks, live music and much more! It’s going to be a great time on the road. Stay cool and beat the heat at Summer on Augusta!

Thursday, July 24th
Block Party at Capers Place Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. with music by The West End String Band. Local food trucks onsite plus enjoy beer & special summer beverages. Visit each business and you’ll be registered to win a Capers Place Gift Basket.
Friday, July 25th
Grillin’ & Chillin‘ at Augusta Commons, 2222 Augusta Street, from 5 to 8 p.m. Music by Charles Hedgepath, Jeff Buchanan and Brian Buffalo. Enjoy food by Chicken Salad Chick and BBQ and Beer by Hi Lo Smoke Company, kid’s activities, cool treats and visit with Reedy Rip’ It. Event supports of Greenville First Steps.
Saturday, July 26th
Primrose School of Greenville Playdate at 404 Houston Street off Church Street 10 am – 12 pm. Food by Chick-fil-a! Be one of the first to play on our playgrounds and plant seeds in our garden. Plus get a magic bean take home kit! Young Artist Garden Art Contest (Entry due Tue. July 22nd – more details at www.PrimroseGreenville.com) Our bus will shuttle neighbors to the Summer on Augusta events!

Shaggin’ on Augusta – 1501 Augusta Street (Across the street from Greystone Antiques)
Dance the night away on Saturday night! Shag lessons begin at 5:30 pm and listen to your favorite beach hits till 8:30 p.m. With music by The Royal Scotsmen. Enjoy BBQ, cool drinks and adult beverages. Bring your lawn chairs!
