The South Carolina Strawberry Festival is Fort Mill's annual salute to spring! Located just 15 minutes south of Charlotte and an hour north of Columbia, the South Carolina Strawberry Festival will be a regional celebration of spring and all things strawberry. More than 40,000 guests attended in 2013. The 2014 festival is our fifth anniversary and promises to be bigger, better and BERRIER than ever!
The Strawberry Festival will feature live entertainment at the Strawberry Jam, kids rides and activities, strawberry pie, ice cream and recipe contests, pig races, great food from local and regional vendors, arts and crafts, and a car show. On Saturday night, the festival will go out with a bang as a spectacular fireworks display lights up the Fort Mill sky!
Fort Mill's "Strawberry Week" will include additional festival-related events, including a golf tournament on the morning of April 30, the Strawberry Pick-n-Flick at Springs Farm in the evening on May 1, and the strawberry pancake breakfast at Nation Ford High School on May 3.
