This holiday season, The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa is continuing its popular Sip & Savor Series with a Thanksgiving dinner aimed at bringing together the local community while showcasing masters of craft in culinary.
On Thursday, Nov. 24, the team is providing diners with a Thanksgiving spread ranging from classic comfort dishes to Lowcountry-inspired plates. Elevated above the dunes, guests of The Grand Ocean Terrace can take in breathtaking views of the island’s white-sand beaches and the picturesque Atlantic Ocean while indulging in a feast fit for the entire family.
Guests can kick off the meal with traditional Thanksgiving offerings, including Cider Brined Ashely Farms Fresh Turkey with traditional bread stuffing, sage turkey gravy, and house-made cranberry sauce; Cracked Pepper Crusted Prime Rib of Beef with beef au jus and horseradish cream; Honey Glazed Ham with Pommery whole grain mustard and a maple honey glaze; and a Taste of Country station featuring Buttermilk Golden Mashed Potatoes, Roasted Sweet Potato Hash, Fresh Green Bean Casserole and Roasted Heirloom Farm Vegetables. For a southern-inspired affair, guests can indulge in the Pan Seared Local White Fish with braised collard greens and tomato beurre blanc; Southern Style Bakes Lobster Mac and Cheese; Oysters on the Half Shell; Local Shrimp Cocktail; Charleston Style She Crab Soup with sherry cream fraiche’; and Tuna Niçoise Salad. End the evening with a traditional assortment of pies, individual tarts, specialty cobbler, petite sweets, cookies, brownies and petite fours.
The all-inclusive dinner provides guests with three seating options at 1 p.m., 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. Price is $85 per person for adults, $29 per person for kids 5-10 and is complimentary for children four and under.
