Reindog and Elves Parade

Friends of the Children's Garden is hosting the first annual Reindog and Elves Parade at the Carolina Children's Garden, a two-acre public garden on the Clemson University Sandhill Campus in northeast Columbia. Dog-lovers will celebrate the human-canine connection in a parade for the holidays. Costume-clad canines will compete for prizes awarded by a panel of judges. Pets can pose with Santa Paws for photographs. Veterinarians, pet therapists, dog authors, agility and obedience trainers, and pet adoption agencies will conduct information booths and demonstrations. Children's activities will take place in the Reading Garden. Stop by the Pup Tent for refreshments. The first 50 dogs to arrive receive Wag Bags. Registration and more information is at the children's garden website at www.carolinachildrens garden.org
