Join us Feb. 27 for the Maria Von Trapp Talk led by Marian Strobel at the Hughes Main Library in Greenville. This free event is a discussion, no an in-character performance.
Maria Von Trapp was a woman of passionate faith and uncompromising determination and woven throughout her life is a repeating theme of music, faith and courage. The beloved film Sound of Music is loosely based on only a small portion of her real-life story.
The Maria von Trapp Talk is a part of the Library Talk Series celebrating a 26-year community collaboration between Greenville Chautauqua and the Greenville County Library System co-sponsoring talks about the historical figures who will appear on stage.
