Joye to the World Holiday Concert

The Christmas season kicks off with plenty of Big Apple-style Christmas cheer this year when Joye in Aiken once again brings a beloved New York holiday tradition to Aiken.

The Joye to the World! concert will be hosted by Joye in Aiken Artistic Director for Jazz Riley Mulherkar and a lineup of nationally and internationally known artists.

In addition to Mulherkar, this year’s edition will feature trumpeter and vocalist Benny Benack III, “a fabulous young crooner in the style of Frank Sinatra and Mel Tormé.” Appearing along with Benack will be vocalist Alicia Olatuja, returning to Aiken after her spectacular performance at the Joye of Jazz in 2020; fun Japanese-born pianist Miki Yamanaka and her drummer husband Jimmy Macbride; and bassist Clovis Nicolas, a veteran of Joye in Aiken festivals since his days as a Juilliard student.

Everyone loves Christmas in New York, and now we’re bringing some of that special magic to Aiken.
