The Konrad Paszjudzji Trio will perform Friday, Nov. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at the Chapman Cultural Center. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m.
The Konrad Paszkudzki Trio's aesthetic can be summed up in three words: mood, sizzle and swing. Their sound is classic yet timeless in its mode of expression, captivating ardent lovers of the jazz idiom and Tin Pan Alley tradition alike. Their repertoire is filled with jazz standards, tunes collectively known as The Great American Song Book. Instantly recognizable songs often bring fond memories of date nights, holding hands and lingering gazes.
The Konrad Paszkudzki Trio plays with a skilled passion for the art of jazz, not relying on trite gimmicks or overt displays of flash and technical wizardry. This is jazz in its truest form - melodic elegance and with a swinging verve. A swinging, sophisticated sound that will put a pep in your step, much like a good cup of java.
This performance is part of Spartanburg Philharmonic's Espresso Series. Tickets are Adult, $25; Youth (up to age 22), $12.50
