In February 1722, Mark Catesby set sail on a three-month voyage to the Lowcountry of South Carolina. Catesby spent four years exploring the natural habitats of the southeast colonies and the Bahamas. "The Curious Mister Catesby" documents the life and work of the 18th-century naturalist, scientist, and artist and his exploration of the New World.
