Columbia Fireflies become the Chicharrones

The Columbia Fireflies minor league baseball team returns for a third year for their annual Copa de la Diversión initiative. For the May 17-19 games, the Columbia Fireflies will change their name to the “Chicharrones de Columbia” to support the Latinx community.

Southern Recipe Small Batch is the official event sponsor of this initiative, which celebrates two of America’s favorite pastimes: snacking and baseball! In fact, they will be serving pork rinds nachos at the park, popped right at the cart!
