Colonial Toys
to
Musgrove Mill State Historic Site 398 State Park Road, Clinton, South Carolina 29325
Children and toys – they go hand-in-hand. But they certainly don’t look the same today as they did in Revolutionary times – neither of them! So what did the kids of the 19th century play? Come out to Musgrove Mills and find out. You’ll be able to play cup and ball, rolling hoops, battledore and shuttlecock, graces, trap ball, and more. Don’t know what these games are? That’s ok, the Musgrove kids probably didn’t know how to use a PS2 either!
