Vijay Iyer Trio

A 2011 Grammy nominee, jazz pianist Vijay Iyer has been described by "The Village Voice" as “the most commanding pianist and composer to emerge in recent years,” and by "The New Yorker" as one of “today’s most important pianists…extravagantly gifted.” Iyer’s latest accolades include the 2013 Jazz Journalists Association “Pianist of the Year” Award, the 2013 Echo Award for “International Pianist of the Year,” as well as receiving one of the 24 prestigious MacArthur Fellowship Awards.
