Sound Tracks of Soul happens every Friday, 7 to 9 p.m., at the GTS Theatre in Myrtle Beach.
Sound Tracks of Soul introduces soul music and its African American influence to audience members of all ages and walks of life. It allows people to come together to experience some of musical history’s most moving, gospel-influenced pieces. The show features breathtaking masterpieces from artists like Ray Charles, Ike and Tina Turner, James Brown, Otis Redding, Sam Cooke, Mavis Staples, Aretha Franklin and so many more.
As the spotlight hits the stage, prepare to be transported back in time to relive some of the greatest musical movements in history. Each song is a carefully rehearsed spectacle designed to engage and enthrall. From foot-tapping beats to soul-stirring ballads, the show reimagines the impactful decades through its live renditions with powerful songs that infused the civil rights movement. The high-energy performance captivates the audience, transforming the stage into an energetic canvas of colors, movements and emotions.
