Join us for Sheep Shearing and Washing Wool, the first of Historic Brattonsville’s Living History Saturdays in May.
The Gulf Coast Heritage breed sheep get a gentle old-fashioned hand shearing, then, living history interpreters wash, process and prepare the wool for textiles.
Each Saturday in May presents a unique step in processing wool:
