Adventures in Brass Performance

The Horry County Museum and Varna International will host a free concert, part of Muzika! The Grand Strand Music Festival, on Saturday, July 1t at 1 p.m. at the Horry County Museum. The public is invited to enjoy Adventures in Brass featuring Abby Temple, trumpet, Olivia Martinez, Horn and David Seder, trombone.

Kalin and Sharon Tchonev started Varna International 20 years ago with the goal to bring high quality choral training to Bulgarian school teachers. Their company has since grown into a globally recognized festival organizer that specializes in large-scale performances and music training academies for conductors, singers and instrumentalists throughout Europe, Israel and the United States.

Varna International’s annual event, Muzika!, will take place throughout the Grand Strand June 14 through July 16. For more information, visit varnainternational.com.

Adventures in Brass will be held in the Museum’s McCown Auditorium located at 805 Main Street in Conway. Admission is free and open to the public, Reservations not required.
