2 broiler or fryer chickens (3 to 31/2 pounds each),cooked, boned and shredded
1 large onion, chopped
2 cups water
1 1/4 cups ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
10 hamburger buns
Combine all ingredients except hamburger buns into 3-quart slow cooker; cover and cook on low temperature setting for 6–8 hours. Serve on buns.
