Yes, And...Adult Beginner Improv

Get ready to unleash your inner comedian and dive into a world of laughter and creativity in our fall adult improv class, Thursdays, 7 to 9 p.m., Sept. 7 through Oct. 26. 

Prepare to think on your feet as we explore the exciting realm of improvisation. Through a plethora of entertaining theater games, we’ll challenge your creative instincts and coax out your wonderfully silly side.

In this class, you’ll have the opportunity to craft scenes entirely from scratch, using your own unique ideas and boundless imagination. We’ll guide you in mastering the art of creating dynamic and unforgettable characters, employing the power of your body and voice. Get ready to captivate audiences with performances that will leave them in awe!

To top it all off, we’ll culminate the class with a special showcase, allowing you to proudly demonstrate your newfound improv skills to your family and friends. Whether you’re an experienced performer or just starting out, this class is designed for anyone who craves the thrill of having fun and expressing themselves through the art of theater.

Class cost is $180. Participants must be 18 and over. Minimum number of students is six; maximum of 15. The class will be held at the Whitmire Activity Center, 310 Lily Pond Dr., in Hendersonville.

The last day to receive a full refund is Aug. 7. After Aug.7, no refund will be issued.
