Learn about the causes of WWII and soldiers’ experiences—what they wore, what they ate and realities of battle. However, servicemen were not the only Americans affected by the war. See how Charlestonians helped the war effort by creating your own mini–Victory Garden, playing a rationing game and train to spot planes in the sky.
Museum workshops offer kids a chance to get hands-on with history and natural history. Included in our workshops are a lesson on the topic and hands-on activities. Recommended for children ages 6 to 12. Reservations required
