Carolina wetlands are an abundant source of wildlife. Meet live amphibians in our classroom from Mecklenburg County’s McDowell Nature Center.
Discover how amphibians indicate if a wetland is healthy or not. Visit the Naturalist Center to be challenged by Fish ID and discover more wetland specimens.
Two workshops (free with museum admission) will be offered – one from 10:15 to 11 a.m. and one from 11:15 a.m. to noon.
Museum members get in early at 9 a.m. on Wonderful Wednesdays in June and July!
