Grant’s favorite subject, Santa Claus, along with his whimsical gnomes, and published scenes of winter will be on exhibit in the Dalton and Perimeter Galleries.
Vernon Grant’s dream to become a New York City artist began when he arrived in the Big Apple in 1932. He rented a studio apartment in Greenwich Village where his vivid illustrations were soon in high demand. His beloved art captivated the attention of millions of people on cereal boxes, magazine covers, playing cards, billboards and a host of other products.
