Undy 500
to
Charleston, Multiple Venues Charleston, South Carolina
In an effort to meet the growing of military transitioning back to civilian life, Palmetto Goodwill will be hosting the 11th Annual Undy 500 on Sept. 15. The Undy 500 is a charity motorcycle ride benefiting our struggling and homeless Warriors by raising awareness and providing funding for veteran homelessness and suicide prevention. In addition, each participating rider will provide a package of new undergarments that will benefit Stand Down Against Veteran Homelessness (in partnership with Veteran Affairs).
The event will start off at the Lowcountry Harley-Davidson in North Charleston and end at Bohemian Bull on James Island. We are expecting roughly 400 participants for the ride and more for the celebration afterwards.
Palmetto Goodwill and Palmetto Warrior Connection are local Charleston nonprofits that focus on helping transitioning military. Since our inception in 2014, we have served more than 5,000 Warriors. We strive daily to transform the lives of our transitioning Warriors and their families through education, employment, housing, benefits and mental health services.
