Teen Homeschool History Day: Extinction

Learn all about animals who have gone extinct in the past and the present. Discover prehistoric animals that called South Carolina home millions of years ago and see examples of animals that have gone extinct in the not-so-distant past on a guided tour of the Natural History Gallery.

Discuss ways animals go extinct and brainstorm ideas of what can be done to eliminate these causes. Teen Homeschool History Day is a program geared for students 13 to 17 and features a field trip experience, a chance to go through the Museum, and an educational activity. Adults not required to stay.

Cost is $5 for Museum member student or $10 for non-member student. Free for Museum member adult or $15 for non-member adult.
