Symphony Tour of Homes: Green Valley
to
Green Valley area Greenville, South Carolina 29617
The 38th annual Symphony Tour of Homes will take place Oct. 7-9, in the gentle rolling hills of the Green Valley area. The tour will include homes ranging from the elegant White Oaks mansion, home of the president of Furman University, to more modern, energy-efficient homes. White Oaks was the first large home built in the Green Valley area, and soon several of Greenville’s founding families followed. The tour is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1 to 4 p.m. on Sunday. In celebration of the tour and as a festive prelude, an elegant Patron Party honoring the homeowners and tour sponsors will be held at one of the homes on Tuesday, Oct. 4, from 7 to 9 p.m. and will include live music and delicious food and wine. Advance ticket purchase is required. All proceeds will benefit the Greenville Symphony Orchestra. Driving directions and maps, along with advance ticket locations and additional information, will be available on the Guild of the Greenville Symphony's website or Facebook page. Ticket prices are $20 in advance and $25 on tour days. For additional information, please call the guild office at (864) 370-0965.
