Solar Astronomy Day
to
Museum of York County 4621 Mt. Gallant Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732
Astronomy includes discovering exoplanets, constellations of stars, and galaxies far, far away. However, for the event of this decade, the sun is truly the “star” of the show. As the sun undergoes totality (a complete solar eclipse) on Aug. 21, you will need to know the safest and best viewing in South Carolina. In the Settlemyre Planetarium, watch "Totality," a show about eclipses, and we will share how and where to view this extraordinary event. Solar trivia and sun-related activities will be ongoing.
