The American Diabetes Association’s 2014 SC Tour de Cure is pleased to announce they will be riding from downtown Columbia at the historic Robert Mills House and Hampton-Preston Mansion on Saturday, May 3, 2014.Please come enjoy this beautiful historic venue and springtime ride around the Columbia area.
The Tour de Cure is designed for anyone from the beginner or occasional rider to the experienced cyclist. Everyone from the family with children to the avid cyclist will find something to love about the Tour de Cure this coming year.
Routes:
- 5-mile Mayor's Historic City of Columbia Family Fun Ride
- C Cycle Studio Real Ryder "Un-Stationary" Bike - Studio Style Setup at Start/Finish Line
- 15, 30, 65 & 100 Mile Routes
All riders will enjoy a safe and well-marked route, superior support and gear, medical support, and outstanding volunteer support. Distance riders fundraise in advance of the event, with proceeds going toward the fight to stop diabetes. The routes feature rest stops with food, refreshments, and volunteers to cheer riders on.
Finish Line Celebration - After the ride, the Tour serves lunch, music, and fun family activities.
Date & Time
There are 5 rides: the 5 mile; 15 mile; 30 mile; 65 mile; and the 100 mile. Reserve times are as follows, respectively: 10:30am; 10:30am; 9:00am; 7:30am; and 6:30am. Start times are an hour after reserve time for all rides.
