Rock Painting Event and Garden Launch

Art League Academy will host a Community Rock Painting Event on Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 106 Cordillo Parkway. The free, family-friendly event celebrates the creation of a new community painted rock garden in front of the Academy.

Open to all ages, the event provides everything needed—rocks, paints and tools—for participants to design their own painted rock. Once completed, the rocks will be placed in the new garden, creating a colorful and ever-changing display. Local artists will be on hand to offer guidance, and food trucks will be on site.

“We’re excited to see the community come together for this project,” says Amy Wehrman-Jones, Art League Academy manager. “Each rock added to the garden will reflect the creativity and spirit of Hilton Head, welcoming visitors to the Academy for years to come.”
