The Arts Council of York County welcomes Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, presented by the Rock Hill Coca-Cola Bottling Company, in concert as a part of the Southern Evenings Series. Bluegrass vocalist, Rhonda Vincent is a spine-tingling sensation with a new album entitled “Only Me,” which debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Bluegrass Album chart, ending Alan Jackson’s 4-month run at the top. Rhonda Vincent & the Rage perform on Friday, November 7 at 7:30 pm at the Community Performance Center, 249 E. Main Street, Rock Hill, SC.
Rhonda Vincent & the Rage have gained popularity by playing high-energy and hard-driving contemporary bluegrass music at festivals and venues across the United States, playing with notable artists like Willie Nelson and Daryle Singletary. Vincent, herself, has won an unprecedented 7-consecutive International Bluegrass Music Association Top Female Vocalist Awards from 2000–2006. The band has won six Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America awards, and individual nominations and awards in each of their respective instrumental categories.
