Spend a day in the most beautiful part of North Georgia - Hiawassee and the stunning Hamilton Gardens. This magical botanical garden is filled with native wildflowers such as trilliums, shooting stars, and trout lilies, and more than 1,500 rhododendrons and native azaleas, making it the largest collection in the Southeast.
During peak bloom time, April 12 to May 11, we will celebrate our beautiful native flowers with a Rhododendron Festival. The Gardens are open Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Enjoy live music, food, drinks, a plant sale, daily seminars and more! Admission: $6 donation requested to tour the gardens.
