Pottery & Panache
Museum of York County 4621 Mt. Gallant Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29732
Museum of York County hosts inaugural event - “Pottery & Panache.”
Pottery is one of the oldest art forms on earth and the Carolina Piedmont has been home to working potters for more centuries than we probably realize. Meet today’s local Carolina potters and view their exclusive collections of work at the Museum of York County’s “Pottery & Panache.”
The museum’s corridors will be donned with chic vignettes of inspiring ways to use pottery in the home. “Pottery & Panache” guests will enjoy live music, heavy hors d’oeuvres spotlighting “Certified SC foods,” museum store specials and door prizes. Locally handcrafted goods will be available for bidding during a silent auction hosted by the Museum Guild. The Museum Store will be filled with unique local goods and pottery for purchase.
