Enjoy an evening of classical music, authentic Jewish cuisine and fellowship at Piano and Pastrami, benefiting the Tree of Life Congregation and the Columbia Jewish Heritage Initiative.
A special solo performance by renowned pianist Marina Lomazov will begin at 6 p.m. in the Tree of Life Sanctuary. The performance will feature music by Russian Jewish composers. Following the performance, guests are invited to enjoy drinks, a deli dinner catered by Groucho’s Deli and baked goods by the Tree of Life Women of Reform Judaism in the Reyner Social Hall.
Ukrainian-American pianist Marina Lomazov has established herself as one of the most passionate and charismatic performers on the concert scene today. Following prizes in the Cleveland International Piano Competition, William Kapell International Piano Competition, Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, and Hilton Head International Piano Competition, Lomazov has given performances worldwide. She is the Ira McKissick Koger Professor of Fine Arts at USC and a Steinway Artist.
Tickets are $35 per person and $25 for Historic Columbia’s Palladium Society members and the Columbia Jewish Federation Young Adult Division.
