The 28th annual North Augusta Christmas Tour of Homes sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority will be celebrated Dec. 4 and 5. The tour begins with a candlelight tour on Friday evening from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m. and continues Saturday with tour stops open from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The homes of Mr. and Mrs. Roland Myers and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Price will be featured in The Rapids. In Hammond’s Ferry, the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Francois Leger and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Cunico will be showcased. The tour will also feature the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Harris on Hampton Terrace and the home of Dr. and Mrs. Bipin Chudgar in the River Club. In addition to visiting these six homes, Tour of Homes guests are invited to peruse the Arts and Heritage Center’s (AHC) galleries and gift shop while enjoying refreshments and holiday music. On Saturday, the AHC is hosting an exhibit presented by the Georgialina Porcelain Artists. The newly constructed science and technology wing of North Augusta High School will be open for tours with planned activities. In keeping with the theme of the school colors, decorations will emphasize the North Augusta High School black and gold spirit.
A brunch and fashion show will be held in the fellowship hall of First Baptist of North Augusta at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Fashions for ladies will be provided by Chico’s of Augusta Mall, and children’s fashions will be from Posh Tots of Surrey Center.
Tour tickets may be purchased in advance for $20 until Dec. 4 at the following locations: Jim Bush Flowers and Gifts, Communigraphics, and Parks Pharmacy in North Augusta, and at Designed for Change in Martinez. During tour hours, tickets may be purchased for $25 at any of the tour stops. All persons touring, including children in arms, must have a ticket. Brunch tickets, which must be purchased in advance, are $10 and may be purchased at the same four locations as tour tickets until 3 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30.
