Bring family, bring friends or come alone and make new friends. Join us at Santee State Park for an awesome photography workshop for intermediate and advanced photographers. Perry Baker, staff photographer, will teach participants how to improve their existing skills and fine tune their photos. Our subjects will be the waterfowl, raptors, gators, and other wildlife in and around beautiful Santee State Park. The program package includes two nights' accommodations in Santee's lakeside cabins, a boat tour with Fish Eagle Tours, and hands-on indoor and outdoor photography sessions. Registration deadline: Nov. 1, 2015
Meeting place: Check in for your cabin at the park office, then meet at the Village Round.
What to bring: Camera (preferably with wide angle and telephoto lenses), laptop (optional), tripod or monopod (optional), and rain gear for the boat ride.
Dates and hours: Nov. 17-19. Check in Tuesday between 3 and 5 p.m. If you need to check in later, please contact the park to make arrangements. Instruction and activities Wednesday. Check out Thursday by 10 a.m.
Price: $250/person single occupancy, $175/person double or triple occupancy. Add a night before or after for only $49. You must call the park to register. No online reservations for this program.
