Free lecture on Friday, April 11, 2014 at noon at the USC-Lancaster Native American Studies Center located at 119 S. Main Street, Lancaster, SC 29720. SCHS Archivist Mary Jo Fairchild will discuss the brief history of the Tuscarora War and discuss the South Carolina Historical Society’s (SCHS) recent collaboration with East Carolina University to showcase and conserve this valuable 300 year old map. This event is free and open to the public. Participants are invited to bring a bag lunch.
