The Arts Council of York County is pleased to announce the 2015 Underexposed Film Festival yc MiniFest in honor of Black History Month. The World Premiere of the Friendship 9 documentary filmed in Old Town Rock Hill and its surrounds will be among six short films selected to honor Black History Month by the Underexposed Film Festival yc & the Arts Council of York County. Fr3deR1cK Taylor, filmmaker – Counter Histories: Rock Hill, SC and After the Fall: HIV Grows Up (UFFyc 2012 - In the Limelight winner), moderates a panel discussion featuring African American filmmakers immediately following the screenings. This discussion will focus on black filmmakers navigating the film industry.
