Marcus Amaker teams up with New Music Collective percussion explorer Ron Wiltrout for a powerful performance of Jazz and Poetry.
Marcus’ poetry and music have been featured and recognized by Washington Post, The Kennedy Center, NPR, PBS NewsHour and many others, and he’s currently the Artist in Residence at the Charleston Gaillard Center. One of his poems is on a Grammy-nominated album. Wiltrout performs and records regularly throughout the country, with ensembles ranging from Jazz and Salsa to Avant-Garde and Contemporary Classical music.
