Historic tours of Old Fayetteville by horse and carriage are now offered monthly downtown. The Downtown Alliance (DTA) and the Fayetteville Area Transportation and Local History Museum hosts the guided tours.
The tours leave hourly from the DTA office and include historic sites from Fayetteville’s colorful 250-year history, to include some from the Revolutionary War era. Tickets may be purchased online, at the DTA office or by phone.
Event times: Three 45-minute tours are offered, leaving at 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. Rain date is Sunday, July 10.
