Historic Cocktail and Spirits Series: Beer Tasting with Holy City Brewing

Guests are invited to join The Charleston Museum for a cocktail series to explore a range of spirits, wine and beer. For the final installment in the series, Museum Curators are partnering with Holy City Brewing for a special workshop on beer and its roots in Charleston.

Learn about the science of crafting beers, how it is brewed, and the different notes and tastes of different batches. As you learn more about beer and its influence in Charleston history, ambassadors from Holy City Brewing will take you on a guided, specially designed tasting journey while you sample a variety of beers. Enhance your experience with an exclusive look at items from the Museum’s History and Archaeology drinkware collections that are not typically on exhibit.

Returning guests are invited to sample new and different beers from previous workshops.

Tickets are all-inclusive and include beer tastings, a full serving of beer, light bites, a Curator talk with access to special Museum collection items and education from Holy City Brewing.

For guests 21 years of age and older. Reservations are required. Classes with insufficient enrollment may be canceled. Students will be notified in advance and full refunds or the opportunity to transfer to another workshop will be offered. Student cancellations must be requested 48 hours in advance for a refund minus $10 administration fee. Full registration fee may be transferred to a future workshop or other adult program. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in a forfeiture of workshop fee.
