The 2017 Hilton Head Oyster Festival is Nov. 10-11, ending with an oyster brunch at Hudson’s Seafood Restaurant on Sunday, Nov. 12. The all-you-can-eat Oyster Festival party will be on Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. Enjoy all-you-can-eat steamed local oysters, Lowcountry boil, pulled pork, seafood chowder and chili provided by Roy’s Place Catering. Along with great food, there will be live music and entertainment from Matt Mackelcan (5:30-8 p.m.) and Bluffton’s Arial Elements, a football viewing area, and wine pull. Drinks (sold separately) are provided by Southern Eagle and Carolina Tasting Room. Tickets are limited, and are $25/person in advance; after Wednesday, Nov. 8, tickets are $30/person. Long sleeve event T-shirts will be available for purchase at the event.
Saturday's festivities, which run from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., highlight steamed, fried and stewed oysters along with other delicious food for non-oyster-eaters! There will be live entertainment, a kid zone, local artisan pop-up shops, marshmallow roasting and a sports lounge for those fall football games! Admission for adults is $7, children under 10 and veterans (with ID) are free.
