Did you know that there were once camels and bear dogs living in the Piedmont region? Learn about the Piedmont world 23 million years ago where horses roamed and bizarre looking beasts called our region home.
Join us to see our newest permanent exhibit celebrating the Miocene epoch by creating your own fabulous headgear, prowl with Saber tooths or test your speed as a digitigrade along with other fun activities.
Admission: $10 adults, $8 seniors, $6 children, members and under 3 are free.
Online pre-registration required. The event will have timed-entry ticketing. Guests should plan to check-in at the time on ticket, but have no specified exit time.
