Edisto Beach Music & Shag Fest

The Town of Edisto Beach is sponsoring the Music & Shag Fest Aug. 29-30, 2025 at Bay Creek Park, Edisto Beach. Three of the best beach music bands will be performing, as well as Boogie Buddies Carolina Shag Group.

Bay Creek Park will open at 3 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 29 with an arts & crafts fair, and food vendors. DJ  Pat Patterson provide beach music Friday afternoon. A shag lesson will be held at 6 p.m. East Coast Party Band will perform that evening.

Saturday events, beginning at noon, include the arts & crafts fair and food vendors. DJ Pat Patterson will provide beach music. Carolina Coast Band will perform in the afternoon. The Entertainers will perform that evening.

Daily admission tickets are available at the gate or online. Children ages 12 and under are free. 

Bring lawn chairs. No smoking in the park, No coolers or pets.

The shag is the state dance of South Carolina.  Make plans now to visit beautiful Edisto Beach and be a part of the popular annual event. Come to Bay Creek Park and be entertained by the top beach music bands and best shaggers in the Southeast.
