Christmas in the 1800's for Essential Tremor

Take a trip back to the 19th century when the Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor presents Christmas in the 1800’s Thursday, December 2, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Aiken Municipal Building in Aiken.
Tickets are $50 and may be purchased online. You may reserve a table of eight for $350 for you and your friends. Ticket includes a sit-down dinner, wine, coffee, sweet tea, sodas, dessert, music, Christmas carols and entertainment by author, storyteller and historian, Kim Poovey. Attendees are welcome to dress in 1800’s attire.
Wearing period clothing, Poovey will share tales of Christmas in the Victorian era. Having travelled the Southeast for more than 18 years, she performs as noted characters such as Jane Austen and Scarlett O'Hara.
All proceeds go to support the Diann Shaddox Foundation for Essential Tremor programs to find a cause and cure for Essential Tremor. Over 42 million people, including children, live with Essential Tremor, the largest movement disorder in the world.
