Get immersed in the agricultural heritage of the Carolina Piedmont during Historic Brattonsville’s “Children’s Day on the Farm.” It’s time to plow the fields of the 800-acre living-history plantation. The heritage breed animals need tending to; the Gulf Coast Native sheep have newborn lambs! The annual family event focuses on farm life in the Carolina Piedmont during the 18th and 19th centuries.
General Admission: adults $10, seniors $8, youth 4-7 $6; free for CHM members and ages 3 and under. Brattonsville Road closed from 9:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Look for detour.
