Art of Design featuring Vern Yip

The Women’s Council of the Carolina Art Association at Gibbes Museum presents Art of Design featuring acclaimed interior designer, HGTV designer and host and New York Times best-selling author Vern Yip. Tickets go on sale Jan. 23.

Since 2011, the Women’s Council has presented the Art of Design, a seated luncheon and lecture featuring internationally renowned experts in the world of design. Speakers have included Andrew Prince, Downton Abbey’s jewelry designer; Chris Giftos, former Metropolitan Museum of Art floral designer; tastemaker Carolyne Roehm; New York Times fashion critic Cathy Horyn; interior designer Charlotte Moss; and Hamish Bowles, Vogue’s international editor-at-large. Through this event, the Women’s Council has raised more than $400,000 in support of the Gibbes Museum’s exhibition and educational programming.
