Art League of Hilton Head invites art lovers, collectors and the simply curious to experience the island’s thriving creative community at the Studio Tour, returning Saturday, Nov. 8.
This one-day, self-guided adventure offers rare access to the working studios of more than 20 local artists across nine unique stops. Visitors can meet artists where inspiration takes shape, watch live demonstrations and purchase works directly from the creators themselves.
From painting, pottery and jewelry to fused glass, quilting, basket weaving and leatherwork, the tour showcases the incredible breadth of artistry that defines Hilton Head’s creative landscape. Stops include five private home studios, two commercial studio spaces and both Art League Academy (106 Cordillo Parkway) and Art League Gallery (14 Shelter Cove Lane), each hosting multiple working artists.
The Studio Tour revives a cherished Art League tradition dating back to 1977, when early tours featured legendary Lowcountry artists such as Ray Ellis, Walter Greer, Joe Bowler and Coby Whitmore. Nearly 50 years later, Art League proudly continues that legacy, celebrating the island’s creative spirit and the artists who keep it thriving.
Tickets are $50 per person, with proceeds supporting the Art League Academy Capital Improvement Campaign, helping sustain vital arts education and facility upgrades for years to come.
