Art in the Park

Artists and crafters who live in the Cedar Creek planned community south of Aiken will host Art in the Park on Sunday, Oct. 5, from noon to 3:30 p.m. Among the items that will be for sale o are handmade embroidered cards, greeting cards, watercolors, seasonal wreaths, vintage fusion jewelry, quilted items and gifts, acrylic paintings, clay sculptures, glass art and wood creations.

"Our Art in the Park, which we host twice a year, has become a popular event for local artisans and area residents, " says event chair Sandy Staiger. “We welcome attendees to Cedar Creek, rated the best planned community in Aiken County.”

The event will be held at Cedar Creek's Walton Heath Park at the corner of Club Dr. and Walton Heath Way.  In case of rain, the event will be held in the Cedar Creek Community Center, next to the Cedar Creek pool and across from the Cedar Creek Golf Course pro shop.
