Main Street Children's Museum 133 E Main Street, Rock Hill, South Carolina 29730
Bring your young ones to Main Street Children’s Museum on Feb. 1 to create a special Valentine’s keepsake together. Using their thumbprints, unique pendants will be crafted while making fun memories with your little artists.
“Art for My Valentine” has two morning sessions available by pre-registration at 9:30 and 10:30. Admission is $2 for each Culture and Heritage Museums member and $8 for non-members.
Serving young children up to age six, Main Street Children’s Museum is a storybook-come-to-life playscape. Special programs focusing on literacy, movement, music, art and STEM aim to prepare young learners and their caregivers for the future.
The 4,420-square-foot playscape is located in the heart of downtown Rock Hill in the People’s Bank Building, which was built in 1910 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The imaginative setting was modeled after the artwork of Vernon Grant, renown illustrator of Kellogg’s iconic characters - Snap, Crackle and Pop.
