The American Heritage Festival has expanded to include WWII and WWI living history.
The Festival features Revolutionary War and WWII battle reenactments daily, as well as historical speakers, cannon and musket firing demonstrations, WWI displays, a collection of South Carolina military vehicles on display and more. Food and drinks will also be available.
On Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12:30 p.m. there will be a historical marker ceremony held by the South Carolina Department of Archives and History. Speakers will include United States Congressman James Clyburn; General George Patton's grandson, Pat Waters; and South Carolina Revolutionary War 250th Anniversary President, Charles Baxley.
