80th Annual Tour of Historic Plantations & Homes

Prince George Winyah Church 300 Broad Street, Georgetown, South Carolina 29442
Prince George Winyah Church is celebrating its 80th Annual Tour of Historic Plantations & Homes in Georgetown March 19 and 20, 2027. The Tours are always popular with decorators, Southern history buffs, gardeners and visitors to South Carolina's coast.
Georgetown, founded in 1729, was for two centuries one of the wealthiest areas in both the Colonial era, then in the young United States. The growing of indigo in Colonial America, then rice in the 19th century created an elite society which left behind beautiful dwellings, gardens and public buildings, many of which are open to our visitors only during our tours.
Check out Friday night's Oyster Roast, scrumptious Bake Sale and much-talked-about Art Show and Sale, where you can take home gorgeous works of art at incredible prices.
