Besides lots and lots of boiled or fried chitlins, of course, the 51st annual Chitlin Strut in downtown Salley will include a parade, helicopter rides, a hog calling contest, a beauty pageant, a singing competition, a carnival, a variety of food and crafts vendors, a dance contest and CWA wrestling. Camping sites are available; call for rates.
