244th Anniversary Commemoration of the Battle of Eutaw Springs

Located in Orangeburg County and acting as one of the most important locations of the American Revolution in South Carolina, the Battle of Eutaw Springs served as a major turning point in the War and set the stage for the momentous surrender at Yorktown.
The program takes place Aug. 29-30 and will include narrated tours on the battle site, a Patriotic Program at the Historic Church of Epiphany and wreath laying ceremonies at the battleground monument, as well as General Francis Marion’s tomb.
